Coming Full Circle At Stanford
posted 6 months ago in UpdatesSince 2015 there have been a hundred or more (hundreds?) of professionals at Stanford Medical/Hospital that have worked to keep me alive. I've seen residents become doctors and surgeons (even had one resident become my surgeon years later!), nurses offering the most kind care, parking valets that have helped me from the car when I couldn't walk, pain specialists, scheduling gods, and so many more.
This week we had an opportunity to bring our gluten-free and gut focused Switch Bakery market stand to an employee health fair event at Stanford and I got to connect and offer food to dozens of amazing employees. AND my Remicade infusion nurses came out to see me.
It was an event I'll never forget and a full-heart opening moment to come so far and be able to send my appreciation out to all of these folks.
